About 1st Mould

Founded in 2005, 1st Mould GmbH is a company based in Pirna (Saxony) specialising in tool and mould making as well as plastics processing by injection moulding. Its service portfolio covers the complete value chain, from customer consulting and data intake through design and optimisation to high-precision CNC milling, the manufacture of tools and moulds, injection moulding production and quality control. It produces prototypes, pilot and small series in the original material, including 2-component injection moulding, insert injection moulding and micro injection moulding for parts from 0.1 to 6 g. The machine park comprises 16 CNC machining centres with spindle speeds of up to 60,000 rpm and cutter diameters from 0.3 mm, as well as seven injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 25 to 200 t. With this equipment the company moulds parts ranging from a few milligrams to approx. 325 g and areas up to 400 x 300 mm. Customers come primarily from medical technology, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, appliance technology, enclosure technology as well as hobby and accessories.
