About 2E mechatronic
2E mechatronic specializes in the manufacture of mechatronic components and systems. The portfolio includes demanding plastic hybrids such as sensor housings, connector frames and connectors, injection-molded three-dimensional circuit carriers (3D-MID, Mechatronic Integrated Devices) with integrated functional diversity, as well as in-house developed, highly precise fluidic-capacitive 360° inclination sensors. Mass production of the plastic hybrids takes place in large-scale series on specially developed, fully automated production systems. In the company's own electronics manufacturing, complete MID assemblies are produced using the LDS process (Laser Direct Structuring). The company also offers development support with a focus on design for manufacturability and is involved in funded BMBF and ZIM research projects. The products find buyers in the fields of automotive (including safety-relevant applications), industry/automation with core competence in connectors, and medical technology.

Materials and Processes
Plastic (injection molding)
Injection-molded plastic hybrids and 3D-MID circuit carriers, e.g. sensor housings, connector frames and connectors.
LDS process (Laser Direct Structuring)
Process for producing injection-molded, three-dimensional circuit carriers with integrated functional diversity.
3D-MID technology
Mechatronic Integrated Devices enable multifunctionality, especially in medical technology.
