About 3DiWorks

3DiWorks Formen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH, based in Rellingen (Schleswig-Holstein), has been active in model, mold and tool making for decades. Its core competence is the manufacture of tools, masks as well as protective and holding covers, including special masks and covers for the plasma process and PUR covers for protection and transport. Its in-house tool making produces hot-press, SMC and wet-press tools for series applications; the special field is silicone model and mold making. Using CNC milling with a machining envelope of 3000 x 900 mm (X/Y), the company manufactures workpieces from steel, aluminum, tool steel, stainless steel and plastics such as PA6, PTFE and high-performance plastics based on 3D article data. The portfolio is complemented by mobile 3D scanning, including on-site at customers, e.g. on engine components, as well as a CAD department for design and implementation of requirement specifications. Customers come from aviation (overhaul/repair of aircraft engines), from power plant equipment, from medical technology (machining of medical implants), from the automotive, bus and rail industries, and from foundries. Production ranges from prototype making to series production.
