MERCHANDISEmich is a brand of 3E-Textil GmbH based in Gera and connects companies, brands and events with a network of over 100 textile manufacturers in northern Portugal, one of Europe's strongest textile regions. Products made include T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts, polo shirts, jackets and softshells, caps, jeans as well as woven terry items such as towels and jacquard sauna towels. The value chain from spinning via knitting, dyeing and garment making to finishing is located closely together there; materials used include sweat fleece (also prewashed, 320 g/m²), piqué, canvas, mesh, jersey, felt, satin and terry. Finishing techniques include screen printing, embroidery including 3D embroidery, appliqués, laser cutting, sewn-on patches and woven labels; dyeing is done according to Textile Pantone. Before every series production, a physical sample is made and approved by the customer; afterwards, the provider coordinates production, quality control and delivery to the desired address, if desired with individual packaging and barcode labeling. Customers come from brand merchandise, events, sports, healthcare and e-commerce.

Quality assurance
Before every series production, a physical pre-series sample is made and approved in writing by the customer; this sample serves as the binding quality benchmark for material, color, dimensions, seam appearance and finishing. Quality control takes place at the production facility, coordinated on site, before delivery to the desired address.
