About 3Faktur
3Faktur GmbH is a specialized 3D printing service provider for the additive manufacturing of industrial components and assemblies, headquartered in Jena (Thuringia). The company produces series parts and rapid prototyping orders using powder bed-based Multi Jet Fusion (HP), metal laser melting (SLM), and precision micro 3D printing (PµSL). Materials processed include plastics such as Polyamide 12, Polyamide 11 and TPU (BASF Ultrasint TPU01) as well as the metals AlSi10Mg and stainless steel 316L. Every year, over 150,000 additive series parts leave the plant; around 2,500 customers come from mechanical engineering, medical technology, automotive, high-tech, the optical industry, metrology, as well as automation technology and robotics. The process chain includes design optimization, data preparation, 3D printing, automated powder removal and sorting, finishing (vapor smoothing, shot peening, tumble polishing, dip dyeing, painting) and automated quality control. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015, and production is certified to ISO/ASTM 52920:2023 as an industrial AM production facility for Multi Jet Fusion (TÜV SÜD).
