About 3RD MAY
3RD MAY gmbh is a fashion label based in Zurich that develops and sells simple, timeless essentials for men and women. The range includes T-shirts, polo shirts, shirts, sweaters, cardigans and loungewear. Production does not take place in its own factory, but in selected, personally visited manufactories in Europe as well as a cashmere knitting mill in Mongolia: T-shirts and polos are made in sewing facilities in Bulgaria, shirts in a Bulgarian shirt manufactory, jersey fabrics in a knitting mill in Austria, knitwear in a knitting mill in Lithuania, and fabric finishing is carried out by a Swiss company. The materials used are Ethical Mongolian Cashmere, Swiss Cotton, Extra Fine Merino Wool, Modal Cotton, Pima Cotton, linen, Luxe Wool and organic cotton rib. Distribution takes place predominantly directly to end customers via D2C e-commerce with delivery to Switzerland and Germany; in addition, the company offers corporate fashion as well as personal style and size advice. The founder and managing director is Patrick Röllin, who previously spent years in sales and purchasing in the textile industry.
