About 595° Solutions
595° Solutions GmbH, based in Nuremberg, developed and produced lightweight components made of the light metals magnesium and aluminium. The company, which emerged from Schulte & Schmidt GmbH and appeared in 2022 as 595° Advanced Lightweight Solutions, manufactured cast parts for technically demanding applications. Developments included the flame-retardant magnesium alloy MgCarbonit 91, whose mechanical properties are comparable to AZ91 and which exhibits improved castability through added carbon particles, as well as the Battery Housings 2.0 concept: aluminium cooling profiles are overmolded with a structure in a single production step, thereby providing mechanical protection and thermal regulation for battery housings. Business operations were discontinued as of 31.12.2024; the liquidation is proceeding under a provisional administrator in Nuremberg.
