A-SPT Protective Solutions GmbH is an owner-managed company based in Marl, specialized in heavy-duty corrosion protection. Its range of services covers surface protection for steel and concrete surfaces with substrate preparation by blasting processes and application of resistant lining materials, plastics engineering including GRP and PFA linings, molded parts made of GRP, PP and PE as well as containers made of thermoplastics, steel restoration by build-up welding and plate insertion, concrete restoration as well as extension, removal and conversion services on flue-gas-carrying plant components. In addition, the company performs plant inspections with wall thickness measurements, porosity, hardness, coating thickness and pull-off adhesion tests and develops restoration concepts including material selection against corrosion and wear. Fields of application include the automotive industry, CED (KTL) systems, flue gas cleaning in power stations and waste incineration plants, iron and steel works, cement works and the electroplating industry. Both managing directors have been active in heavy-duty corrosion protection for more than three decades.
