About a2 Metallbau
a2 Metallbau Armbruster GmbH is a family-run metal construction company based in Oberwolfach in the Black Forest. Founded in 1969, the company manufactures steel structures such as bridge and building load-bearing frameworks, roof and gable structures, stairs in steel, stainless steel and aluminium, balconies, railings, gates and doors as well as carports and canopies with roof surfaces made of laminated and safety glass, trapezoidal and sandwich panels. In addition, the company produces series parts and accessory parts, which are used throughout Europe among other applications, and carries out refurbishment work with load-bearing steel structures for load dissipation. Production includes laser cutting (CO2 system), plasma cutting, sheet bending, sheet straightening, thread cutting and welding to EN 1090-2 in execution classes EXC1 to EXC2; surface finishing is carried out by partners via hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating. From CAD 3D design through manufacturing to assembly, projects are offered turnkey for municipalities, private and commercial customers. The 15-member team works in two production halls at the Oberwolfach site.
