About AAD Aerospace
AAD - Advanced Aerospace Developments GmbH was founded in 2016 in Taufkirchen near Munich and has been approved as an EASA Design Organisation (Part 21J.527) since 2018. The company develops and certifies modifications to aeroplanes and helicopters, including Minor Changes, Minor Repairs and Major Changes in the form of Supplementary Type Certificates (STC). The scope of approval covers procedural requirements from CS-VLR and CS-27 to CS-29 (rotorcraft) as well as CS-VLA, CS-LSA, CS-23 and CS-25 (aeroplanes). Developments include interior and exterior installations such as seats, upholstery, mission consoles, antennas, mission equipment, lighting and an external mirror system for the AS 350, as well as cockpit/flight deck redesigns and avionics/electronics changes. In-house testing capabilities for flammability and strength tests as well as a Flight Test Organisation for helicopters up to CAT 1 with its own FTI development complete the service portfolio. Customers include, among others, operators and suppliers of the aviation industry, such as ENTROL as part of a flight test campaign.
