About Aava Mobile
Aava Mobile Oy is a company for the development and manufacturing of mobile computing technology, founded in 2009 in Oulu (Finland). The team began mobile platform and product development in the early 2000s and became one of the largest ODM manufacturers of mobile devices in Europe. Since then, Aava Mobile has focused on open-OS smartphones, handhelds and industrial tablets. The product range includes the Tab-IND series with 8- and 10-inch tablets under Android and Windows (IP65, integrated NFC antenna, Smartback interface for custom hardware integrations) as well as 15- and 22-inch kiosk terminals for self-service, information display and access control. The devices are fully developed and manufactured in-house and are aimed at manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, automotive, retail and gastronomy. Aava Mobile is part of the Pepperl+Fuchs Group and has more than one hundred thousand tablets in field use.
