About Momento

AB Momento was founded in 1951 in Flen, Sweden, with the aim of manufacturing impact sockets and accessories. According to the company, it is the only factory in the world that exclusively manufactures machine-operated sockets and accessories, and it offers one of the broadest standard product ranges in the industry – from 1/4" to 3 1/2" drive, including variants such as Thin Wall, Surface Drive, Magnetic, Torque Sockets, Nutsetter, Adapters, Extensions and socket sets. The portfolio is complemented by torque and hydraulic tools (pumps, cylinders, pullers), custom-made special tools, and the heavy-metal-free SilverLine™ coating. An in-house heat treatment department (since 1989, capacity since increased fivefold) ensures complete quality control across all production steps. As part of the Irvator Group, Momento also offers contract heat treatment in small and large series as well as the manufacture of complex parts from metallic and plastic materials. Distribution is handled via subsidiaries: Momento GmbH in Meinerzhagen (Germany) for Europe and Momento International in Lenexa, Kansas (USA) for North America.
