About Abraham CNC
Abraham GmbH (ABRAHAM-CNC) is a medium-sized contract manufacturer based in Burgthann-Oberferrieden in Bavaria and has been producing turned and milled parts to the highest precision since 1990. The company machines virtually all common materials, from steel, stainless steel and aluminium through copper, brass and bronze to titanium, tungsten, plastics, castings and special alloys. The modern machine fleet comprises CNC lathes and Swiss-type automatic lathes from OKUMA and Citizen, 5-axis machining centres from HELLER and DECKEL-MAHO as well as engine lathes and lead/tailstock lathes for single parts up to large dimensions. The value chain includes welding with CL1 approval under EN 15085-2, brazing/soldering, heat treatment, surface coatings (including KTL, powder coating, Geomet, Dacromet, Teflon) and the assembly of ready-to-install assemblies. Customers come from railway technology, medical technology, laser and research technology and industrial engine manufacturing; according to its own presentation, deliveries are made worldwide. Via Kanban and consignment warehouses with picked kits, Abraham CNC supplies its customers with series components. Quality assurance operates with a climate-controlled measuring room and two Zeiss coordinate measuring machines.

Quality
In the climate-controlled measuring room (65 m², category 2 to 3 per VDI/VDE 2627-1), geometries are metrologically verified with two Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (Contura 7/10/6 and Contura 12/24/10 active with scanning probes and Calypso software) as well as a Mitutoyo profile projector. For welded components, CL1 approval under EN 15085-2 is in place.
