Abt Söhne AG is a contract manufacturer for sheet metal processing and mechanical engineering based in Zofingen (canton of Aargau, Switzerland). The company manufactures demanding single sheet metal parts, assemblies as well as complete machines and systems – from prototype to series machine, on request including design engineering, design proposals and packaging. Its value chain includes punching and laser cutting on a CNC punch-laser center in a single part setup, press brake bending, sheet metal rolling as well as welding (TIG, MIG/MAG, spot welding, stud welding), riveting and press-fitting. With high in-house production depth and broad know-how, the company supports customers from various industries, especially mechanical engineering, throughout the entire development and design phase through to the finished product. The technology center in Zofingen has existed for 100 years and combines cost-effective solutions with high quality in series production as well as prototype manufacturing.
