About ABW Metalltechnik
ABW Metalltechnik GmbH, headquartered in Weingarten (Baden), is a specialist in sheet metal processing and manufactures demanding sheet metal parts, components and assemblies as well as customised enclosure solutions made of steel and stainless steel sheet, aluminium and pre-coated sheet. The service portfolio includes 2D laser cutting, punching and nibbling, combined laser cutting/punching processing, bending and folding, deburring, large-format milling and powder coating in an in-house system. Products include control cabinets, control panels, machine frames and machine guards, PC racks and inserts manufactured to customer specifications. The design department works with Siemens PLM Software NX and supports customers during development, including the provision of CAD models. With 130 employees at the Weingarten and Hockenheim sites and the production plant in Lwówek Śląski (Poland), ABW supplies leading manufacturers in automation technology, the electrical industry, mechanical engineering, the lighting and energy industries as well as domestic appliance technology. Since 1962, the company has been part of the ART Group, where it covers the enclosure technology segment.
