AC Contrôle Sàrl is an independent material testing laboratory located in Bex in the Canton of Waadt. The company performs non-destructive testing (NDT) on welds, components, and equipment – using X-ray radiography and gamma radiation with Iridium 192, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, and visual inspection, both directly on-site or at the construction site. Furthermore, the company offers destructive and mechanical testing, including tensile tests up to 120 kN (up to 1000 kN in cooperation), bend tests, hardness measurements (Vickers, Rockwell C, Brinell, microhardness), Charpy impact tests between -196 °C and +100 °C, as well as macro- and microphotography.
