AC-therm GmbH is a manufacturer of composite and building elements founded in Bielefeld in 1996, with three product areas: composite elements, entrance doors and entrance door infills, and automatic sliding windows. The ventilation system marketed under the Slidow brand comprises the SLI 1000, SLI 2000 and SLI 3000 series and is produced from thermally broken aluminium profiles customised to customer specifications. Production takes place on a CNC machining centre and a 5-axis CNC machining centre for aluminium profile machining; colour finishes are available in all RAL and DB colours as well as anodising. Customers include industry, trade and commerce, including metalworkers, building element dealers, profile system houses and planning and architecture offices. The products are distributed in Germany and Europe directly or via system partners; for planning purposes, the company provides CAD sectional drawings and quotations for specific construction projects.
