About Achenseebahn
The Achenseebahn is Europe's oldest steam-operated cog railway. It runs from the three-gauge railway station Jenbach in the Inn Valley through a mountain landscape with views of the Inn Valley to the mountain station Seespitz at Lake Achensee, the largest lake in Tyrol. Seespitz station serves as the starting point for walks along the promenade as well as for connections to the Achensee lake shipping. Along the route, children can discover sculptures designed by children of forest animals. The company targets visitors in tourism and recreation; the range of services includes steam railway rides and connection to the lake shipping. The languages of the website are German.
