Schmiedeglut is a Germany-based manufactory specializing in the production of high-quality knives, damask knives and specialized sharpening tools. Traditional bladesmithing is at the heart of production. The blades are made from a variety of specialty steels, including various carbon steels, stainless steels and Ti-6Al-4V titanium. In addition to forging, products for the kitchen, hunting, outdoor and general-purpose applications are manufactured.
