acurata is a German manufacturer of rotating high-performance instruments for dental practices, dental laboratories, dental CAD/CAM systems, podiatry, and nail studios. Cutters, drills, diamond instruments, polishers, and brushes are developed and manufactured in its own production facility in Thurmansbang, Bavaria (Bavarian Forest). The instruments are made of fine grain carbide, which is isotastically re-sintered (HIP process) in the heated state, as well as of diamond, ceramic, and plastics; high-performance coatings (ac-blue, ac-fire, ac-kristall) are used for CAD/CAM cutters. The range includes more than 3,000 products in numerous variants regarding head shapes, grit, teeth, and lengths. Since 2005, acurata has been manufacturing CAD/CAM cutters for standard milling systems as the first dental tool manufacturer. The products are certified as medical devices according to EN ISO 13485 and are sold to customers worldwide through its own distribution system and online shops.
