Laser precision machining since 1986
ADAM GmbH Polier- und Lasertechnik is a contract manufacturing company specialising in laser precision machining. Its core competence is 2D and 3D laser welding with automatic wire feed on seven CNC-controlled Trumpf systems ranging from 50 watts pulsed to 6 kW continuous wave, complemented by laser cutting of sheet metal from 0.1 mm, tubes and profiles as well as laser marking and deep engraving up to a part weight of 300 kg. Materials processed include stainless steel, aluminium, steel, copper, titanium and other alloys on request. The service portfolio also includes jig and fixture building, assembly of assemblies with parts procurement and warehousing, prototype construction and manufacturing optimisation, as well as functional and parts inspection. Supply industries include medical/medical technology, metrology and control technology, automotive, electronics, mechanical engineering, precision engineering and gearbox manufacturing. The company manufactures from lot size one through to large-scale series in millions of units for customers in Germany and neighbouring European countries. Headquarters and production are located in Vörstetten near Freiburg; since 1 April 2025, ADAM has been a subsidiary of Laser Integration Laser Applikation GmbH (LILA) in Sexau.

Materials and laser processes
3D laser welding with automatic wire feed
Spot-precise welding process with minimal distortion and minimal structural change, also used as repair welding on injection moulding tools.
Laser cutting
Precise cutting of sheet metal 0.1–0.5 mm, tubes and profiles with cut edges that often require no post-processing, from very low lot sizes.
Laser marking / laser engraving
Wipe-proof and water-resistant markings such as serial numbers, datamatrix and QR codes as well as deep engravings with YAG and CO2 lasers.
Stainless steel
Main material for laser welding and cutting, among others in medical technology.
Aluminium
Can be processed in laser welding, among others with wire feed.
Steel
Standard material for welding and cutting applications including tool steel.
Copper
Can be processed in laser welding according to the machine park specifications.
Titanium
Can be processed in laser welding, relevant for medical technology and precision engineering.
Assembly / assembly production
Single-part and series assembly including parts procurement, warehousing and functional testing.

Quality management
The processes are certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 (PÜG, valid until 07.10.2028). Weld seams are spot-checked as micrograph samples under the microscope; a measuring and inspection station enables functional and parts inspections with complete documentation.
