About ADAX SA
ADAX SA is a micromechanics company based in Bevaix (Switzerland) that manufactures precision shafts, pins, bearing needles, bearing rollers, barrel rollers and spring pins. Founded in 1927 as Atelier de Décolletage d'Axes in Peseux, from which the name ADAX is derived, the company specialized in the turning (Décolletage) of precision shafts. The turned parts range from 0.15 to 20 mm in diameter and are produced in free-cutting steels, stainless steels, hardenable and non-hardenable steels as well as titanium. The manufacturing program comprises Décolletage, grinding and centerless grinding, roulage, lapping of diameters and ends, heat treatment as well as various finishing operations, all carried out in-house. All processes are developed in an internal technology and methods department. Originating from the Swiss watchmaking industry, ADAX today supplies the automotive, aerospace, medical technology, rail transport and Formula 1 sectors with more than 100 million parts per year.
