About ADL GmbH
ADL GmbH (Aerosol Dosen Limburg) was founded in 2013 as a joint venture between LIMBURGER – The Packaging Group (Blechwarenfabrik Limburg) and the Massilly Group. The company specialises in the manufacture of three-piece aerosol cans made of recyclable tinplate, in sizes from Ø 52 to 65 mm and can heights up to 300 mm (fill volume 150 to 1000 ml). Production is integrated plant-in-plant into the new LIMBURGER plant built to Industry 4.0 standard in Limburg; exclusively new machines from leading European manufacturers were installed. Finishing is carried out on a modern UV printing press using Euroscala colours as well as special colours; as an inner coating, the PET film lamination AEROFOKA is offered (BPA-NI, pore-free, chemically resistant). The Massilly Group supplies the components and complements the portfolio, while Blechwarenfabrik Limburg provides technical support and logistics. The cans are available in versions for 15 or 18 bar.

Additional services
Quality
All cans are tested in-line for leak tightness with a high-pressure tester; in addition, containers are continuously examined in the water bath for micro-leaks and checked at regular intervals for dimensional accuracy. Seam inspection is performed using a high-resolution camera with automatic pattern recognition; deformation and burst pressure are determined by destructive testing. All measuring instruments are electronically connected, and the test data is recorded automatically.
