Adtingo Agritech is a Geneva-based private company that supports governments, major food companies and financial institutions in improving food safety. At its core is cold pasteurization (eBeam irradiation), a process for eliminating bacteria, microbes, pests and fungi without the use of chemicals and without altering the taste, color, texture or nutritional value of food; the facilities are designed for up to 250,000 tons of throughput per year and site. In addition, the company plans, builds and operates storage and handling systems with controlled-atmosphere warehouses, large-scale hermetic 'Cocoon' grain covers, as well as cold-chain and logistics management. Using distributed ledger technology, Adtingo digitally integrates the entire supply chain, from cultivation and harvesting through processing and storage to distribution, including traceability, carbon accounting and payment systems for farmers.
