Family-run business with modern CNC manufacturing
AE-METALL GmbH is a traditional family business in Föritztal (Thuringia), founded in 1947 by Adolf Ehnes and currently operated in the third and fourth generation. The focus is on CNC manufacturing using CNC milling and CNC turning processes, supplemented by serial production of precision parts, tooling and special machine engineering, as well as welding and steel constructions. The company processes a wide range of materials, including steel, stainless steel (V2A/V4A), aluminum, brass, copper, titanium, and technical plastics. Manufacturing is done based on 2D drawings or 3D models using a modern CAD/CAM system. Customers include sectors such as mechanical engineering, medical technology, electrical engineering, and the automotive sector. Additionally, AE-Metall operates its own production facility in Sonneberg for the manufacturing of vehicle license plates as well as plastic and metal signs.
