About the Aebi Schmidt Group
The Aebi Schmidt Group is a multinational corporate group headquartered in Frauenfeld (Switzerland), formed from the 2007 merger of Aebi & Co. AG Maschinenfabrik (Burgdorf) with the Schmidt Group winter maintenance and municipal technology (St. Blasien). The company manufactures special vehicles as well as attached and mounted equipment for the maintenance of safety-critical and operationally relevant traffic areas and demanding terrain. The product portfolio includes transporters such as the Terratrac, mowing tractors, sweepers, snow blowers as well as vehicles and equipment for snow clearing, de-icing and cleaning at airports and on roads. The group owns the brands Aebi, Schmidt, Arctic, Nido, Meyer, Swenson, ELP, MB and Monroe and employs more than 3'000 staff in 17 sales organisations and over a dozen production plants in Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Canada and the USA. In addition, the group offers support and service solutions as well as, together with partner Yeti Move, driver-assisted and autonomous software solutions for airport winter maintenance fleets.
