About Aero-Coating

AERO-COATING GmbH is an independent coating service provider certified to EN 9100, based in Wismar. Since 1994, the company has been coating safety-critical components for aerospace and the defense industry – from fasteners to complex structural parts. Core processes are IVD aluminium and vacuum cadmium as PVD processes in high vacuum, Resin Based Coating (RBC) as a cadmium replacement, primer and topcoat painting, and titanium anodizing to ISO 8080. The portfolio is complemented by dry film lubricant, cetyl alcohol slip film, blasting processes, degreasing, chromium(VI) and chromium-free passivation, partial coating and individual packaging. Coated materials include steel, high-strength steels, aluminium alloys, titanium and nickel-based alloys. The Wismar site is located in close proximity to the Hamburg aerospace cluster; customers served include OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers and MRO companies in Germany, Europe and selected international markets.
