About Aero Design Swiss
Aero Design Swiss develops patented aerodynamic technologies for competitive cycling. Four main patent groups are central to this: a frame design that reduces the air resistance of both rider and bike by over 2%, a fork with over 25% less air resistance on the front wheel, a handlebar with over 1% reduction in rider resistance, and a stem with over 10 cm vertical and horizontal adjustability. The technologies are used in new time trial and triathlon bikes and are also applied to road, adventure, and e-bikes. The licensed fork technology is used by Ridley and Merckx in the WorldTour. Developments are based on CFD simulations and wind tunnel tests, as well as experience in carbon molding. Founder and Managing Director is Morgan Nicol, a Chemical Engineer (B.S., UC Davis) with over 30 years of experience in the bicycle industry. The company is based in the Italian-speaking canton of Switzerland.
