About Aero Metals Alliance
Aero Metals Alliance (AMA) is a group of five specialised metal trading companies – Gould Alloys, Service Centres Aero (SCA), Progressive Alloy Steels Unlimited (PASU), Sunshine Metals and Wolften – with 13 locations worldwide in Europe, North America and Asia. The offering includes warehousing and distribution of high-integrity metals for the aerospace and defence industries: semi-finished products in aluminium, titanium, stainless steel, alloy steels, nickel alloys and phosphor bronze, plus tungsten, molybdenum and tantalum at Wolften. Processing ranges from cut-to-size (plate and bar sawing up to 220 mm thickness or 400 mm diameter), shearing and waterjet cutting to CNC milling, drilling and turning (parts up to 5 m in length), near-net-shape contour sawing, heat treatment, forged components and ultrasonic inspection. This is complemented by material stock management, direct line feed with 24-hour delivery and delivery certificates to EN 10204 2.2/3.1/3.2. Customers include Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Rolls-Royce as well as industry suppliers. The German SCA site is located in Remshalden, the French one in Nantes.
