About AFC
AFC – ALU FUTURE COMPONENTS is a family-owned company based in St. Pölten (Austria) that has been supplying renowned aluminium processing industrial companies with demanding extrusion products for over 25 years. As a development and trading company, AFC manages all production steps – from billet casting through extrusion, mechanical machining (CNC milling, punching, bending, laser and waterjet cutting), surface treatment and assembly kitting, through to warehousing and tailored logistics – in a European production network of 55 extrusion presses with press forces of 600 to 7,450 tonnes. Manufactured products include drawing profiles with complex cross-sections (0.03–120 kg/lfm, up to 700 mm circumscribed circle diameter, lengths up to 28,000 mm) in 40 aluminium alloys, including EN AW-6060 and EN AW-6063, as well as components and ready-to-install assemblies made from them. In-house engineering accompanies projects from new product development through prototyping to series supply. Key industries are construction, interiors, solar, electronics, industrial and transport. The second generation of the entrepreneurial family is being prepared for the leadership transition.
