About AFS Fördertechnik
AFS Fördertechnik GmbH in Mudenbach is a manufacturer of drive and conveying technology systems. The portfolio includes gears, timing belt pulleys, sprockets, poly-V-belt and V-belt pulleys as well as carrier, support and stub rollers with and without Vulkollan coatings. In addition, custom designs and special fabrications for specialized applications are produced, including all required turned and milled parts. Production is carried out on CNC lathes, CNC machining centers and CNC gear hobbing machines in all common materials such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass and plastic. Multi-part components are assembled ready for installation; wear-optimizing heat treatment such as hardening and tempering as well as coating are offered as additional services. As a system supplier for mechanical and conveyor plant engineering, automation and logistics, AFS also supplies the automotive, chemical, textile and food industries and handles spare parts supply for existing machines and systems.

Materials and Processes
Steel
Common material for gears, sprockets and rollers, also tempered and with hardened teeth.
Aluminum
Lightweight metal for turned and milled parts in the drive and conveying technology sector.
Stainless steel (VA 1.4057)
Stainless steel, among other things for timing belt pulleys in the drives of filling and packaging systems.
Brass
Non-ferrous metal for machinable drive components and custom fabrications.
Plastic
Material for gear wheels and wear parts, including Vulkollan for roller coatings.
CNC turning
Turning of individual and series parts in all materials offered.
CNC milling / gear hobbing
Production of gear teeth according to drawing, sample or standard using the hobbing process.
Heat treatment
Hardening and tempering for wear-optimized design of the parts.
Coating / surface finishing
Various types of surface finishing as a downstream service.
