Everything under one roof – a family company since 1928

AGOFORM GmbH is a medium-sized family company in Löhne (East Westphalia) and has been a partner to industry since 1928. Its core competence since 1956 is the thermoforming of plastics: the company produces drawer inserts for cutlery, spices and bathroom, anti-slip mats, sink protectors as well as customer-specific thermoformed plastic components (TPC) for industry. The value chain includes in-house sheet extrusion and coextrusion, thermoforming with moldings up to 2,960 x 1,260 mm, 5-axis CNC milling up to 3,000 x 1,500 mm, and assembly and finishing at more than twenty workstations (gluing, bending, embossing, punching, sawing, plastic welding, printing). The main materials are polystyrene, thermoplastic elastomers, and natural and synthetic rubber. Customers come from the furniture industry (kitchen/bathroom/office), transport technology (caravans, commercial vehicles, construction and agricultural machinery), landscaping, electrical and medical engineering, and logistics. With 160 employees, more than 5 million cutlery inserts are produced each year; a large share of production goes to over 60 countries. AGOFORM also stocks customer items and delivers just-in-time, including via EDI.

Materials and manufacturing processes

PS

Polystyrene

Main material for cutlery inserts, thermoformed parts and the anti-slip mat produced since 1994; food-safe and recyclable.

TPE

Thermoplastic elastomers

Material for anti-slip mats, heat-resistant up to 45 °C, food-safe and slip-resistant.

Kautschuk

Natural and synthetic rubber

Used in the FIBRE anti-slip mat series with fabric structure and very high friction values.

Extrusion

Sheet extrusion / coextrusion

In-house extrusion of the raw material since 1985; coextrusion allows sheets with two colors or materials.

Thermoformung

Thermoforming

Core production competence; moldings up to 2,960 x 1,260 mm on machines with special equipment.

CNC 5-Achsen

5-axis CNC milling

Simultaneous machining with table sizes up to 3,000 x 1,500 mm, including import of common CAD formats.
