About AGRU
AGRU Kunststofftechnik GmbH is an owner-managed family business now in its third generation, founded in 1948 by Alois Gruber Sr. in Upper Austria and headquartered in Bad Hall. The company develops and manufactures piping systems, custom-molded parts, semi-finished products (sheets, round rods, pipes), concrete protective liners and plastic geomembrane liners made of semi-crystalline thermoplastics such as PE 100-RC, PP, PVDF, ECTFE, PFA and FEP. Manufacturing includes pipe extrusion, extrusion of geomembrane liners via flat die and calender, CNC machining of semi-finished products, and welding technology (infrared, butt, seamless and electrofusion welding); since 2016 the company has operated its own cleanroom facility for processing fluoropolymers for the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries. AGRU supplies industries such as gas and water supply, chemicals, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, plant engineering, tunnel and pond construction, mining, environmental technology and data centers. In addition to its main plant in Bad Hall, AGRU operates production sites in the USA, Germany, Poland and China and, through a dense sales network, serves more than 150 countries. The company employs around 1,200 staff.
