About Air Products GmbH
Air Products GmbH is the German subsidiary of Air Products, the US industrial gas company founded in 1940, headquartered in Hattingen. The company produces and supplies oxygen, nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide, helium and hydrogen in gaseous and liquefied form as well as specialty, UHP and calibration gas mixtures. Through its Sale of Equipment business, Air Products also develops and manufactures plants and equipment, including cryogenic air separation units (50 to over 4,000 t/d oxygen), PSA hydrogen purification systems, PRISM membrane systems, Rotoflow turboexpanders, cryogenic hydrogen/helium compressors (CHC), coldboxes, tunnel freezers (Freshline) and gas control equipment. In addition to gas supply via cylinders, cryotanks and on-site generation, the company offers engineering, plant operation, maintenance and digital process optimization. Customer industries include refining, chemicals, metal production and processing, electronics, medicine, food, welding and energy/hydrogen. The main administration is located in Hattingen; further German sites are Lampertheim, Marl, Lüneburg, Stade and Wilhelmshaven.
