AK Industriemontage & Fördertechnik GmbH is part of the Düren-based PS Gruppe, which also includes PS Technical Service GmbH & Co. KG and PS Schweißtechnik & Industriemontage. The group supports industrial companies with maintenance, repair and technical specialist work: valve service (maintenance, repair and overhaul of industrial valves), piping and vessel service, boiler overhauls, and welding work to international standards in various processes such as submerged-arc, manual metal arc, TIG and MIG/MAG welding. AK Industriemontage & Fördertechnik GmbH specializes in the maintenance and repair of mining machinery such as excavators and stackers as well as in conveying technology and conveyor belt systems. In addition, the company manufactures custom steel construction such as machine infeed chutes, railings, cable crossings, support structures and transport racks, and provides personnel via works contracts or temporary staffing. Fields of application include power plants, refineries, petrochemical plants, the paper industry as well as open-pit mining and heavy industry. The Düren site comprises offices and its own dedicated welding workshop.
