AKA Kunststoffrohrleitungssysteme GmbH is a manufacturer of dimensionally accurate prefabricated assemblies and custom-made products in plastic piping construction. At its site in the Freiberg Ost industrial estate in Saxony, the company maintains an extensive stock of pipes and fittings made from polyethylene (PE/PEHD) and polypropylene (PP) as well as special materials such as PVDF. The company's own workshop production includes butt welding and extrusion welding as well as machining by turning, drilling and milling, all to drawing specifications. The portfolio includes pressure pipe systems up to 16 bar internal pressure, double pipe systems, drainage systems with siphonic roof inlets, wall and tank penetrations for formwork-flush installation in concrete tanks, tank and apparatus construction as well as plastic shaft structures. Since 2004, AKA has also been developing and manufacturing geothermal shafts and factory leak-tested, pre-assembled manifolds for private homes and large industrial installations. Customer industries include sewage treatment and biogas plants, waterworks, swimming pool construction, wastewater engineering, drinking water supply and industrial plant engineering.

High-density polyethylene (PEHD)
