About alba design
alba design GmbH is a Swiss engineering office based in Bäretswil in the canton of Zurich. Founded in 2004, the company with 14 employees offers holistic engineering for process plant engineering, product and plant development as well as conversion and modernization (retrofit). Focus areas are cryogenics, energy and environmental technology as well as demanding special machinery construction. The service portfolio includes design from the PID diagram, engineering of apparatuses, instrument and valve panels, welded constructions, manufacturing support and prototype construction, CFD simulations as well as FEM structural calculations based on a code_aster workflow. In addition, alba design supports manufacturing and procurement in areas such as plastics-compliant engineering, aluminium and zinc die casting, sintering technologies, stamped and bent parts as well as forged parts, and implements technical container solutions including commissioning. Long-standing customers include LINDE Kryotechnik AG and BELIMO Automation AG. By 2024, more than 150'000 engineering hours had been completed.
