The Company
albinkraus is an Austrian tool manufacturer founded in 1937 and based in Tulln an der Donau. The company produces routers, router bits, saw blades and drills made of solid carbide (VHM), tipped carbide, diamond (PKD) and with insert/turning plates, including custom-made special tools. A focus is on tools for machining solid surface materials such as Corian, Staron, HiMacs, Avonite and Rauvisio, alongside tools for wood, wood-based materials, aluminium composite panels, acrylic and thermoplastics. In addition, the family-owned company offers a sharpening service for saw blades, routers and drills on CNC grinding machines, CAD design, measurement and quality inspection, training in its own technical workshop, thermoforming equipment and trading in woodworking machines. Production was closed on 15 August 2024; since then only the stock clearance sale has taken place.
