About Albtec Prototypen

Albtec Prototypen GmbH is a manufacturing service provider specialised in 3D printing, based in Burladingen on the Swabian Alb. The company produces prototypes, functional and design samples as well as series components in batch sizes from 1 to 10,000 – without tooling and without capital commitment for the customer. Various additive processes are used: HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) including High Resolution, Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Selective Laser Melting (SLM), Stereolithography (SLA) and the PolyJet process; vacuum casting is offered as a supplement. The material range includes plastics such as PA6.6, PP, PE, ABS and TPE, synthetic resins as well as the metals stainless steel and titanium. Components can be produced up to a size of 1,000 × 1,000 × 2,000 mm; downstream steps include glass bead or plastic bead blasting, vapour smoothing, painting, overmoulding/insert moulding of standard parts and pre-assembly of complete assemblies. Customers come primarily from the automotive industry, medical technology, mechanical and custom machine engineering, motorsport, aerospace, electronics as well as architecture and trade fair construction. Production takes place on 1,500 m² of production floor space; more than 1,500 customers are supplied worldwide.
