About us

Alfons Lau e.K. is a family-owned business from Nottuln-Appelhülsen in the Münsterland region, founded in 1904 by blacksmith and farrier master Anton Lau. Today the range of services covers consulting, planning and design (3D CAD) as well as the manufacturing and assembly of systems, series and special-purpose machines in the field of packaging and conveyor technology. The contract manufacturing portfolio includes CNC turning and milling, welding and frame construction to customer drawings. Production is carried out in aluminium alloys, stainless steel and plastics such as Teflon (PTFE), from single parts to small series. Customers come from the packaging, transport and automotive industries as well as special-purpose machine engineering; the packaging specialist Meypack has been supplied since 1989. The company employs around 37 staff and operates two sites locally: Plant 1 (Werlte 23, company headquarters) and Plant 2 (Industriestraße 3, in the Appelhülsen industrial park since 1997).
