Alfred Hausenstein GmbH & Co. KG develops and distributes custom packaging solutions for products of every kind. The product range includes packaging made of corrugated board and solid board, corrugated board inlays, die-cut parts, PE packaging, styrofoam solutions and special packaging, supplemented by packaging accessories such as labels, load carriers and pallets. The service offering ranges from packaging consulting and CAD packaging construction to die-cutting tool development and packaging prototypes, through to logistics management with warehousing, inventory management and transport. This is complemented by digital printing services as well as the sales, installation and integration of packaging machines such as strapping devices, film welding machines, air cushion and labeling machines. The family-owned company primarily serves customers from the automotive, chemical and food industries. The company is headquartered in Heddesheim in the Rhine-Neckar region; the processes are certified to ISO 9001:2015, and as an FSC-certified company, Hausenstein relies on wood and paper raw materials from sustainable forestry.

Our Journey Through Time
- 1925
Foundation of the factory Anton Grimm e.K. in Krumbach (Odenwald) by Anton Grimm; production of wood wool as packaging material.
Establishment as a supplier to the Lanz works and Mercedes-Benz; opening of a distribution warehouse near Mannheim.
- 1953
Oskar Banschbach takes over the management of the company after the death of Anton Grimm; expansion of the product range, among other things filling material for Steiff teddy bears.
- 1976
Hans Banschbach takes over; the company headquarters move to Mannheim-Neckarau into the halls of the former Schildkröt doll factory.
- 1992
Closure of the Mannheim site and relocation to Viernheim; focus on custom packaging solutions.
- 1997
Hans and Ilona Banschbach establish the new company headquarters in Heddesheim.
- 2005
After the death of Hans Banschbach, Ilona Banschbach takes over the management.
- 2020
