About allfo
allfo has been producing vacuum bags in Waltenhofen in the Allgäu since 1966 for the packaging of foods such as meat, fish and cheese as well as for the non-food sector, including technical products as bulk goods. The product range includes seal-edge, tubular, multilayer, shrink, boil-in, stand-up pouch and structured bags as well as printed versions, individually or on rolls. The bags are produced by sealing and cutting multilayer master rolls; partial printing of the rolls is done by flexographic printing. The materials used are PA/PE composite films with up to eleven layers, or up to eighteen layers for tubular films from the sister company brevac, as well as polypropylene, EVOH and films made from renewable raw materials. The bag films are sourced predominantly from the sister companies allvac and brevac, with whom allfo shares the site at Dieselstraße 9; the laboratory and application technology center are used jointly for product development. Over 200 bag variants are available from stock; customers include trading partners and companies from the food industry, gastronomy and kitchen supplies in Europe and on other continents.

Materials & Processes
Polyamide/polyethylene composite film
Barrier film with up to 11 layers as the basis of the vacuum bags; in puncture-resistant variants also suitable for sharp bones or screws as bulk goods.
PA/PE tubular film (blown film extrusion)
Seamless tubular film from brevac with up to 18 layers for tube bags without side seam.
Polypropylene
Component of multilayer master rolls for the primary packaging of foods.
EVOH
Barrier component in multilayer films to increase oxygen tightness.
Film made from renewable raw materials
Film supplied by allvac for vacuum bags made from renewable raw materials.
Bag film without polyamide content
Film under development that is intended to simplify the recycling of the bags.
