Aluminium welding expertise since 1962
The ALLUCAN AG is a Swiss family-owned company based in Bremgarten (AG) with around 50 employees, which evolved from the aluminium welding plant E. Nussbaumer AG founded in 1962. The company manufactures welded constructions mainly from aluminium and its alloys, in special cases also from steel and CrNi steels, using manual welding processes, robotic welding (IGM, ABB gantry robots) and laser welding. The range of services includes machining (turning and milling of all materials from aluminium to zirconium), metal spinning and deep drawing, sheet metal processing and finishing, surface technology (grinding, polishing, painting, powder coating, galvanic finishing), assembly, repairs as well as engineering and design with Autodesk Inventor. The main industries are rail technology, high-current transmission technology, building supervision & architecture, defence technology, shipbuilding technology and aviation technology. Production takes place at the sites Bremgarten, Rottenschwil (metal spinning, material warehouse & cutting), Mellingen and Muri (prototyping & special constructions). Since 2025, ALLUCAN AG has been merged with Lastech AG.
