Almatec AG, headquartered in Schüpfheim (Lucerne, Switzerland), develops and manufactures technical enclosure systems in light-metal and plastics engineering – from the compact service connection box to the walk-in cabinet, as a standard product or manufactured to the millimetre exactly according to customer specifications. The production range includes double-walled enclosures made of extruded aluminium hollow profiles with welded frame constructions as well as plastic enclosures produced by the RTM resin injection process (Resin Transfer Moulding) at pressures of up to 7 bar. In addition, the roughly 100 to 120 employees offer engineering with thermal simulation and acoustic design, enclosure air conditioning, powder coating in any RAL colour, as well as turnkey assembly, maintenance, retrofit, repairs and dismantling/recycling. Products such as the ANK, ASK and UP enclosure series are in use at power utilities, telecommunications providers, transport operators and in plant construction, including KWO Innertkirchen, Deutsche Telekom and Telekom Austria. In addition to Switzerland, Almatec manufactures and sells via Almatec GmbH in Lich-Eberstadt (Germany) and Almatec SA in Chexbres; the company has been internationally active since 1995.
