Injection molding expertise since 1886
Altdorfer Spritzgusswerk GmbH (ASG) manufactures technical precision injection-molded parts from high-performance and standard thermoplastics such as PEEK, PFA, LCP, PVDF, PA, PSU and POM. Production covers injection molding including multi-component technology (2-K), overmolding of insert parts and vertical injection; part weights range from 0.1 to 350 grams. The service portfolio ranges from consulting on part design, material selection with fill simulation and manufacturability analysis, through 3D CAD design and toolmaking, to series production, assembly of complex assemblies with ultrasonic welding and printing, as well as 100% inspection. Customers come from hydraulics and pneumatics, laboratory analytics, the electrical industry, medical technology, automotive and mechanical engineering. Production takes place exclusively at the Altdorf site near Böblingen on 27 injection molding machines from Arburg and Demag with clamping forces of 250 to 2750 kN.
