The complete aluminium casting process from a single source
ALUTEC-MÖHL GmbH, based in Schalksmühle, is a supplier of aluminium castings covering all key casting processes: permanent mould casting, low-pressure casting, die casting and squeeze casting. The focus is on lighting technology. Production takes place at a Polish production company (Recz) according to German standards with in-house toolmaking, while sales and customer support are located in Germany. The value chain includes tool design with CAD, CAM and FEM-supported casting simulation, rapid prototyping via 3D printing, casting production, CNC machining on 36 machining centres and lathes, surface finishing such as wet painting and powder coating, as well as assembly and packaging. Quality inspection is carried out, among other things, by CNC measuring machine, X-ray system and spectral analysis; production is certified to ISO 9001:2015. Customers thus receive the finished casting from a single source – with a German supplier and contact person.

Casting processes and materials
Aluminium
Base material for all casting processes, primarily in the field of lighting technology.
Aluminium alloys
Processed alloys are continuously monitored by spectral analysis.
Permanent mould casting
For small batch sizes with low tool costs and better surface quality than sand casting.
Low-pressure casting
For large, heavy, thin-walled and pressure-tight castings; 4 redundant systems.
Die casting
For high batch volumes with high surface quality at low unit costs; machines with 2000 to 9600 kN clamping force.
Squeeze casting
High surface quality and dense structure with short cycle times without high tool costs.
