About AMG SA
AMG P. Henchoz SA is a private Swiss precision manufacturing company founded in 1984 and headquartered in Echallens in the canton of Vaud. The company produces custom parts and assemblies for industrial applications: 5-axis and 4-axis CNC milling (including automated operation with 40 pallets), CNC turning with driven tools, internal and external cylindrical grinding with precision down to ±0.003 mm, as well as conventional manufacturing processes such as turning, milling, drilling, planing and honing for prototypes and repair jobs. In addition, qualified welding processes for stainless steel, aluminium, steel and special alloys such as Hastelloy C-22 as well as mechanical assembly of complete sub-assemblies are offered. More than 150 materials are machined, including steels, stainless steels, aluminium, non-ferrous metals and special alloys. Large-format components up to 3000 × 800 × 900 mm are possible on the Ibarmia machine. Customers come from medical technology and pharma, food and packaging machinery, the chemical and paper industries, drive technology, machine tool manufacturing and other demanding industrial sectors. Under one name, AMG SA unites three specialist brands for large-format machining, certified welding and precision machining of non-ferrous metals.

AMG SA documents material properties, dimensional conformity and surface condition by means of inspection reports, endoscopy, pressure tests and independent penetrant testing (PT) and visual testing (VT). The welding procedures and welder qualifications are certified by the Swiss Safety Center.
