Amiet AG from Herisau is a manufacturing partner for complex machined, hardened, EDM-eroded and ground precision components – from prototypes and single parts to production series on the requested deadline. The entire process chain – milling, turning, hardening and annealing in the company's own hardening shop, die-sinking and wire EDM as well as surface and cylindrical grinding – takes place completely in-house, enabling the shortest lead times and an express service with guaranteed delivery dates. Sandwich orders milled and turned to hundredths, ground and EDM-eroded to thousandths, and polished to surface quality N2; this also includes feasibility assessments for components and assemblies as well as the manufacture of extrusion and stamping tools and special tools. Final quality assurance is carried out with high-precision 3D measuring machines in climate-controlled measuring rooms including measurement reports, supplemented by a partner network at home and abroad for additional services. Customers include, among others, mobil Kunststoffprofile, Ernst Grob, HUBER + SUHNER and Bühler in Uzwil.
