About APA-Tec
APA-Tec GmbH, based in Böbingen an der Rems (Baden-Württemberg), has specialised since 2004 in the design and implementation of automation solutions for general mechanical engineering and packaging machine construction. Its service portfolio includes electrical design, control cabinet construction, software development, visualisation as well as commissioning, testing and service. A key focus is the modernisation and retrofit of packaging machines, in which the existing mechanics are retained and equipped with state-of-the-art automation, control and weighing technology. In addition, APA-Tec develops and manufactures its own packaging machines such as the rotary filler ARA for cans and jars (up to 90 cans/min), the tray erector ATA, the horizontal packer AHP and the filling scale AIW with throughputs of up to 40 weighings per minute. Practical experience exists particularly in the packaging of sugar, flour, coffee, detergent and oat flakes as well as in the processing of paper, film, cold and hot glue. Product-contacting parts are made of stainless steel with FDA and food-law approval. Additionally, the company offers maintenance, service and remote maintenance via its own industrial router in a data centre.
