About Appel Die-Cutting
Appel Die-Cutting is a sole proprietorship founded in 1991, based in Kirchheim unter Teck (Baden-Württemberg), and specialized in technical consulting in the field of die-cutting and diemaking. The aim of the consulting is to increase die-cutting, creasing and embossing quality while simultaneously increasing productivity. The service portfolio includes process investigations and diagnostics including complaint analysis, the determination of die specifications according to substrate, the introduction of Kaizen (5S, CIP), zone pressure compensation on die-cutting machines as well as the introduction of appel-mat or ZERO-mat, a film for automatic stripping. Through the group company AST Schneidtechnik, cutting services are offered for materials that cannot be die-cut – using cutting tables (plotters), CO2 lasers, milling or waterjet. In addition, consumables and accessories for die-making and die-cutting are distributed, including Pertinax, Vetronit and Softinax counter plates, steel plates, ejection rubbers (Polyron), stripping tapes (ProfiTape, Tritex), plotter blades for machines from Aristo, Kongsberg, Lasercomb and Zünd, as well as milling tools for Pertinax, steel, brass and aluminium machining. Customers are packaging manufacturers from solid board and corrugated board as well as die makers. The group also includes Appel Consulting and the used machinery dealer boXpert.
